Pourquoi inclure la post-navigation

La post-navigation est un excellent moyen d’optimiser la navigation de votre site Web. Son emplacement fonctionne comme un appel à l’action. Elle attire l’attention sur votre contenu et incite vos lecteurs à rester plus longtemps sur votre site Web. Elle simplifie le processus de recherche d’un autre article à lire.

Le module Post Navigation de Divi permet à l’utilisateur de naviguer vers l’article précédent ou suivant. Vous avez plusieurs options quant à leur fonctionnement. Ils peuvent être liés aux articles de toutes les catégories ou de catégories spécifiques. Ils peuvent afficher le texte que nous entrons ou les noms des articles. Nous pouvons même désactiver les liens précédent et suivant de manière indépendante.

Où placer la navigation des articles

Les liens de navigation ne doivent pas ressembler à des liens aléatoires. Ils doivent être placés de manière à ce que les lecteurs comprennent intuitivement de quoi il s’agit. Le meilleur emplacement pour cela est sous le contenu de l’article de blog.

Dès que le lecteur a terminé l’article du blog, il dispose d’un moyen facile de voir l’article précédent ou suivant. C’est l’emplacement qui lui convient le mieux et qui est le plus utile pour augmenter le trafic.

Le blog d’Elegant Themes contient de nombreux modèles d’articles de blog gratuits, conçus pour s’adapter aux packs de mise en page gratuits de Divi. Il suffit de rechercher « free blog post template ». Téléchargez et décompressez votre modèle.

Pour mes exemples de captures d’écran, j’utilise le modèle gratuit Corporate Blog Post Template. Je vais adapter le module Post Navigation à ce modèle d’article de blog.

Pour télécharger ou créer votre modèle, allez dans Divi >Theme Builder dans le tableau de bord de WordPress. Pour télécharger, sélectionnez Portabilité et cliquez sur Importer dans la modale qui s’ouvre. Cliquez pour choisir votre fichier et naviguez jusqu’au fichier JSON sur votre ordinateur, puis sélectionnez-le. Cliquez sur Importer les modèles Divi Theme Builder et attendez que le téléchargement soit terminé. Enregistrez vos paramètres.

Les liens textuels constituent l’option de navigation la plus simple. Il s’agit du paramètre par défaut du module de navigation des articles. Nous allons conserver le texte mais changer le nom des liens. Par défaut, ils affichent le nom des articles.

Sélectionnez Desktop et entrez Previous Post dans le champ Previous Link, et Next Post dans le champ Next Link. Nous laisserons les autres paramètres par défaut pour ce module.

Allez dans l’onglet Contenu. Faites défiler jusqu’à Catégories et activez l’option Naviguer dans la catégorie actuelle. Cette option permet d’afficher uniquement les articles de la même catégorie. Nous allons laisser le champ vide, mais vous pouvez ajouter le nom de la taxonomie si vous le souhaitez. Nous laisserons également les champs Texte vides pour utiliser les noms des articles. Fermez les paramètres et enregistrez-les.
