The fee nobody puts on the pricing page
EDD's free plan adds an extra 3% on every Stripe transaction, on top of Stripe's own US rate of 2.9% + 30¢. Only an Extended pass or higher removes it, so their cheapest way out of the fee is $199.50 the first year, then $399 every year: the $99.50 Personal pass still pays the 3%. Their own documentation adds that the fee applies to subscription renewal orders too, and that it comes back the moment your license expires. lfdp charges 0% on your sales, on the free plan and on Pro, forever.
