LaFactory Subscriptions turns WooCommerce products into subscriptions: a recurring price, a billing cadence, and renewals that charge themselves.

Nothing is bolted on the side. Subscriptions are a native WooCommerce order type, renewals run through Action Scheduler, and your data stays where WooCommerce already puts it.

This is the free edition, and it is complete. No feature is crippled, no counter runs out, no key is required.

Simple and variable subscriptions, with a billing cadence per variation. Free trials, sign-up fees, prepaid cycles, and a subscription length that ends the contract after N payments.

Two extra product types ship with it: subscription boxes, re-shipped every cycle, and memberships, which grant a role and protect the content you choose.

Let customers manage themselves

From My Account, a customer can pause, resume, skip one renewal, renew early, switch plan, cancel, and settle a failed payment.

Each of those permissions is a checkbox in the settings. Turn off what you do not want to offer.

Recover the payments that fail

A failed renewal is retried on a schedule you set, and the customer gets a link to pay it themselves. Involuntary churn is the cheapest churn to fix.

Know where your revenue stands

The dashboard reports monthly recurring revenue, active subscriptions, renewals due in the next seven days, subscriptions in dunning and 30-day churn. The list below it pauses, charges or cancels any contract in one click.

How it works

1. Install and activate. WooCommerce 9.0 or later, PHP 8.1, nothing else.
2. Create a product and pick Simple subscription, Variable subscription, Subscription box or Membership.
3. Set the cadence: recurring price, interval, trial, sign-up fee. The customer checks out as usual, and the renewals take care of themselves.

Questions people ask before installing

Is anything limited in the free edition?

No. There is no site limit, no subscription count, no trial period and no licence key. What you download is what you keep.

Does it send anything to LaFactory?

No. This package contacts no server, ours included: no licence check, no activation call, no telemetry, no remote font. There is no setting that would enable such a call.

Where do updates come from?

From WordPress.org, through the standard update system, under the permanent lafactory-subscriptions slug. The plugin is submitted to the directory; until the listing is live, this page carries the current package.

Will my existing subscriptions plugin conflict?

Subscriptions are stored as a shop_subscription order type, the same convention other major subscription plugins use, so your data stays portable. Run one subscription plugin at a time.

What is in the paid edition?

Subscription health checks, bundles, recurring coupons, smart retry timing, a dunning queue, analytics, a retention flow, migrations from other subscription plugins, CRM connections, account credit and a fully configurable customer portal.
