LaFactory Multi Inventory Free

A WooCommerce product holds one stock figure. A real warehouse holds several.

A lot received in March and another in July. A shelf in one building and a pallet in another. A dropship stock a supplier owns. LaFactory Multi Inventory gives each of those its own row, with its own SKU, quantity, purchase cost, supplier, location and dates, and then decides which one an order is served from.

The free edition is the whole inventory layer, not a demonstration of it.

Several stocks per product

• As many inventories as you need on a product or a variation, each attached to a location, with its own SKU, stock, purchase cost and supplier.
• Off by default: your shop keeps running on native WooCommerce stock, and nothing changes until you switch it on, globally or product by product.
• Immediate transfers between inventories, and a complete CSV export.

Lots, dates and the order they leave in

• LOT and batch tracking, with full movement logs: sales, receptions, adjustments, transfers, write-offs and refunds.
• Best-before dates with expiry thresholds, and a best-before line the customer sees in the cart.
• Deduction priority per product or globally: FEFO, FIFO, LIFO or an order you set by hand.
• Orders are split across inventories automatically, and a refund restocks the inventory the units came from.

Serving the right stock to the right destination

• Each inventory declares which destinations it serves. An order is only ever served by stock that serves its destination.
• Hierarchical locations: warehouse, then aisle, then shelf.
• Suppliers with lead times, and purchase orders whose reception credits the target inventory rather than the global product stock.
• A central Stock screen with inline editing of quantity and purchase cost, and attachments per inventory through the WordPress media library.

Questions merchants ask before installing

Does the plugin send anything anywhere?

No. No licence check, no activation call, no telemetry. The free package does not contain the code that would: the file is absent, not switched off.

Can another plugin extend it?

Yes. The screens announce their extension points with do_action() and apply_filters(), so another plugin can add rows to the settings tabs or columns to the inventory panel without touching this one.

What is not in the free edition?

The paid edition adds warehouse operations (fulfilment, locations manager, planning, delivery documents), stock analytics and insights, CSV import, a REST API, webhooks, WP-CLI commands, the French interface and the LaFactory update channel. It installs in its own folder, so both editions can sit on the same site.
